Last November my husband (Chief Oven Loader, PR guy, and Sole Support System) was awarded a contract for a huge remodeling job, which took most of this winter. This job had him and our oldest son out of town for weeks at a time, often on random and short notice departures. That decided me to back out of the Night Market earlier than planned. So sorry to disappoint!
Well, here it comes! Another contract with the same company this spring! Yikes! That leaves the rest of the Chipps crew holding down the fort again without our Main Men! No problem, the next young fellow in line is all too eager to step up to the plate and keep us all in line while Papa & Nathanial are gone.
This leads me to the decision to forgo attending as a vendor at The Downtown Farmer's Market this summer. We decided to take one step at a time keeping the option open for perhaps attending a winter market in Troy this coming fall.
I wanted to be sure to thank all of you for your support, suggestions, and friendship! I'm hoping to visit our favorite summer Saturday morning spot as a customer this year! Who can make it thru the summer without the Shelabargers sweet onions? I'm thinking of many things that became part of our lives that went with the farmers market lifestyle and culture.
We want to come again to support our friends!
